Flood Control Projects Totals Exceed 12 Million in Syracuse District
Army Engineers disclosed flood control plans totaling over 12 million dollars including three under construction at 4,309,124 and bids on 10 projects at 4,188,948. The Onondaga Creek site faced rights of way delays from Indians. settlement expected soon. Other bids received cover Almond, Williamsport, Bath, Sunbury, Addison, Lisle, Whitney Point, Canisteo, and Almond village projects with various amounts. D. W. Winkelman of Syracuse appears as Elmira contractor partner and low bidder on several notices.
