C-SPAN Tour Visits Syracuse Area Reflecting Tocqueville Journey
C-SPAN continues its nine month tour mirroring Alexis de Tocqueville’s 1831 32 American visit with stops set in Syracuse Fort Brewerton and Auburn. A bronze plaque ceremony is planned in Syracuse with Adelphia Cable to honor Tocqueville. The tour began May 9 in Newport RI and runs to January 19 in Washington DC.

Gary Puckett Leads Nostalgic Night of 1950s Hits with Bands
Gary Puckett and Rochester group Ruby Shout headlined a retro concert reviving 1950s classics from Same Old Song to Shout with trio of bands. Dunes & The Del-Tunes and others performed Doo-wop and rock and roll favorites such as Great Balls of Fire Yakety Yak and Willie and the Hand Jive.
