Bowling tournament boosts Syracuse economy with 80000 attendees

Chicago bowler Tom Mose said Syracuse felt laid back during the American Bowling Congress national tournament at Onondaga County Convention Center. The 128 day event drew 80,000 people, including 50,000 bowlers and 30,000 guests, and boosted the local economy by about $60 million as lodging meals and shopping surged.
