Onondaga Hill friends killed installing home antenna
Two Onondaga Hill men Kevin Scanton and Edward Fellows, both 24, died Monday installing a 25 foot citizen band antenna when it touched 13,200 volt lines then a 220 volt line. Phillip McMaster, 25, attempted to assist. Robbed of life, their families recalled decades of friendship and shared childhoods.

Robin Wheeless, visiting his parents at 4374 look Drive across from the Scanlon house, witnessed an orange glow from the Scanlons yard as an antenna touched a live wire. He saw a man named Scanlon testing equipment for his freelance disc jockey job, and two friends died in the accident.
