City OKs Six Zoning Applications
The City Planning Commission approved six zoning applications and held three for study after a hearing in City Hall. Approvals included a 401 Durston Ave conditional use with a lot coverage waiver and a 2507 Grant Blvd garage. A gas station change at 921-929-935 E Fayette St and 216 S Crouse Ave was approved with demolition plans noted. Town of Onondaga officials plan a new equalization rate with the state and county before September school taxes. Town Supervisor Thomas H. Dyer said a 32 percent rate, based on 1949 51 values, will be updated to current market value ahead of a forthcoming state survey. He urged residents with assessment complaints to visit assessors at Onondaga Hill and noted three public meetings next week at Split Rock Navarino and South Onondaga Grange Hall starting 8 p.m.
