Girl Scouts Camp On Wellesley Island For Bicentennial
Nearly 1000 Girl Scouts from Central New York Council Thousand Islands Council and Girl Guides of Ontario gathered at Wellesley Island State Park for Bridging the Gap 1776 1976 Bicentennial events. Activities ranged from old time crafts to modern dancing as 54 Cadettes received the First Class pin at a ceremony after an ecumenical service.

Center schedules summer programs and activities
The Jewish Community Center offers a two week session from June 28 to August 13 in addition to existing camping sessions. Members can sign up for a tennis program for ages 8 to 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 30 a.m. to 12 30 p.m. starting July 6 for four weeks. Swimming is available.
