Everson Museum Plan Seeks Joint Syracuse Site
The Everson Museum trustees propose a joint art museum with Syracuse University and Syracuse Museum, centering on a $150,000 TV center and university staff support. They favor a site at the university or Thornden Park, arguing a downtown location is least suitable and seeking public funding for a large, accessible cultural facility.
