Cave-In disaster film drains suspense with weak script
A crowd watches NBCs World Premiere movie Cave-In about seven people trapped 300 feet underground. Stars Ray Milland Susan Sullivan Dennis Cole Leslie Nielsen Julie Sommars and others provide overacted melodrama, tame thrills, and unscary peril for an audience seeking genuine tension. The result is more laugh than fright and a dull viewing experience.
