Pioneers to Receive Second Polio Shots in Upstate Schools
Officials in Syracuse and surrounding counties map plans to vaccinate roughly 10 048 polio pioneers who had blank injections in 1954 field trials. Dr John T Gentry and Dr David E Bigwood announced surplus vaccine will be used for second shots next week in public and parochial schools for grades one through four.

Local donors fund summer camps for 100 children
More than 100 needy children will attend summer camps thanks to a local donor. Solin D. Wilson of Wilson's Leading Jewelers contributed 500 dollars, his sixth annual gift, bringing total to 5250 over six years. The Campership Fund renewals will again support scholarships through the committee chaired by Mrs. Aurie I Johnson.

Police Seek Stone Throwers After Damaging Incidents
Police report two incidents of stone throwing by youths. Philip Oakes on State Street said rocks dented his car roof while driving under an overpass on E Colvin Street. David Burke on Winkworth Parkway said two stones shattered his living room front windows. Patrolman Reidy investigated both cases.

Annulment Granted in Uncontested Syracuse Case
Nicholas Suszynski of Weedsport won an uncontested annulment from Official Referee Abram Zoller in the State Supreme Court Equity Term. The decree granted custody of the child to the former wife Anna Mare. He testified she promised to continue her education beyond high school but did not.
