Geddes Justice Faces Salary Cut Debate
Geddes Town Justice Charles B. Close defended his performance as a $6,500 salary was questioned after a proposal to cut $3,500. Councilman Longo cited an audit showing Justice Jerome earned far more in fines, urging equal pay for equal work. The plan was referred to the Police Committee amid questions over workload and clerical support.
