Rev Roadarmel quits Fre Ruins Camp on Seneca River
The Rev Kenneth A Roadarmel, executive secretary of the New York State Baptist Convention for nine years, resigned yesterday at a meeting at Fairhaven Lodge Cooperstown. On Sept 1 he becomes executive secretary of the New York State Council of Churches in Albany. Attending Syracuse were Rev Nicholas Fira and other convention leaders including Rev Tan Johnson Rev Ivan Cash and Rev Siebe Feldman.

300 Old Boys At Clambake Fire Ravages Camp
A blaze yesterday destroyed Aloro Kendrick’s camp across the river from Red Rock, blamed on a lack of fire protection. Deputies Hoffmen report neighbors formed a bucket brigade, keeping the flames from spreading. A turnout of over 300 Old Boys Association members joined the Yeumen clambake at Hinerwadel’s Grove as Manlius School’s commencement program began, with cadets opening Beam and a parade of Old Boys. Graduation exercises are slated for Saturday at 10:30 AM with Dr. Alan W. Brown delivering the commencement address. reunions for classes of 1925 and 1930 are on the schedule.
