Park park site of massacre identified by KGB notes Kharkov burial
The KGB identified a park outside Kharkov as the likely burial site of 3900 Polish officers massacred in 1940. PAP reported. The officers, part of about 15,000 seized by the Soviet Union, were killed by the NKVD in the Katyn Massacre. The discovery adds to the mystery of missing officers after years of Soviet denial.
