Parents outraged as most McMartin charges dismissed
Los Angeles AP reports parents reacted with dismay and outrage after Municipal Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb dismissed at least 45 of 207 child molestation counts in the McMartin Pre-School case. The rulings followed the prosecutor's refusal to permit additional child witnesses via closed circuit TV without the former pupils testifying in view of the seven defendants.

Young Oklahoma girl receives nation’s youngest heart lungs
Elizabeth Burns, 14, of Norman Oklahoma, is in critical condition after a successful heart lung transplant using organs from 11 year old Shanton Simper of Clarkston Michigan. Shanton died after a brain aneurysm, his father Anton Simper calling the donation a miracle of science as doctors began organ removal in Pontiac Michigan. Elizabeth plays violin with the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra and had congenital heart disease.
