Railroads Set Out Fares
A dozen eastern railways announced summer group and family economy fares effective June 25 to October 22. The plan offers 25 percent savings for three or more adults or two adults with two children of half-fare age, with free travel for under 12 and half fare for those 12 to 16 when accompanied by a paying adult. Exceptions apply to some routes such as New York to Washington on certain lines.
