Trainees praise Skill Center program in Syracuse news
A meeting of 44 of nearly 100 enrollments and most instructors from the Youth Skill Center discussed complaints about the program. The center, funded largely by a $906,000 federal grant, faces concerns that funds may be cut and trainees could return to the streets. Trainees and ex-trainees criticized training and followup, while supporters noted strong ties to teachers and educators.
