Warners to open playground at Warners Elementary
Warners Community Council opens the playground at Warners Elementary School on July 5 with Robert Bronk directing daily activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. He will run arts and crafts, games, softball, track and swimming. First graders only for playground. older children may swim at Jordan Pool after noon with a bus 1 p.m. Tue and Thu. Registration for the swim program and playground is June 17 evening and June 18 afternoon at Mrs. Dorothy Teska’s home.

Portrait of Dr Albert G Swift Donated to State University Hospital
Relatives friends and former students presented a portrait of the late Dr Albert G Swift to the State University Hospital. The painting will hang in the new surgical library. Dr Swift was professor of surgery at the College of Medicine and died in 1958.

Syracuse Boys Club honors at second annual Man and Boy dinner
At Hotel Syranse the 258 attendees included boys and leaders honored for football basketball boxing swimming checkers bumper pool public speaking and other activities. Awards recognized 30 years service by Robert Cook and long time volunteers including Juchas B Wheel Arthur Karr and Stanley Banaszek with plaques to Mrs director Thomas Coulter and John Harp Terry Esther Weaver and others.

Donald J. Bundy of Syracuse has been named by Lawrence E. Walsh to join the 13 member 1966 committee on aeronautical law as one of two New York state members. He has helped formulate new aviation laws and worked on airline litigation, with an article in the Syracuse University Law Review.
