Indian troops storm Golden Temple amid massive Punjab clash

Indian soldiers raided the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar to flush hundreds of armed extremists. Hart Wins California Primary In Tight Democratic Contest

Lawsuit claims elderly denied emergency care at New York Hospital

An $20 million suit filed by the family of 87 year old Rose Dreyer alleges she was allowed to die at New York Hospital affiliated with Cornell after a doctor was ordered to stop reviving her. The Health Department opened an investigation and preliminary remarks suggested merit to the claims.

Weapons in Gulf conflict traced to United States origin

U.S. supplied the planes and missiles used in the Persian Gulf air battle. Saudi F-15s came from 62 units approved by Congress in 1979. Iranian F-4s were older aircraft later scavenged for parts. AWACS aircraft provided radar and target data. Saudi pilots trained at Nellis. AIM-7F Sparrow missiles were used to strike Iranian planes.
