Marty Torrey, Columbia County Democratic chairman, switches to the GOP citing liberal New York City bias. Gov Pataki and GOP leader at headquarters announced his move amid prior defections including Richard Grebinger of Hempstead and Debra Mazzearell who joined Democrats.
