NYNEX proposes mixed changes in local rates and fees
NYNEX filed with the state Public Service Commission outlining an $28 million increase from optional services while reducing flat-rate bills for about 500,000 customers in Central New York. The plan lowers flat rates for twelve communities as of September and raises charges for directory assistance call waiting non published numbers wire maintenance plans and vanity numbers. The basic local rate freeze from the 1995 plan remains in effect.
