80 Good Shepherd Women Defy Rain for Final Session
About 80 members of the Women's Auxiliary of the University Hospital of the Good Shepherd gathered at Mrs. John Humpleby's Fayetteville home for the season finale despite rain. Mrs. Robert Herrisman gave a book review of The Doctor Has a Baby while guests toured drenched Humpleby gardens between showers. Tea was served in a dining room decorated with garden flowers. Mrs. Leo E. Gibson was president and Mrs. Charles T. Dempsey chaired the hostesses’ committee.
