WWII romance in Camp Campbell bride shares enduring love
Betty Moore recounts meeting a sergeant of the 14th Armored Division in 1944 at Camp Campbell Kentucky, marrying 12 days before he shipped to Germany. The couple, now celebrating 53 years together with children and grandchildren, reflects on a life shaped by war time romance and faith differences. Betty signs as a reader from Torrance California and thanks Ann Landers for printing the story.
