Nine injured in Thruway crash kills four
A head on collision on the Thruway in Ontario County between 2:30 and 3:00 am killed two children and two adults. The Canadian car carried eight people and the accompanying New York station wagon four. A pickup traveling the wrong way caused the crash and the eastbound lanes were blocked until around 5:30 am. Police sought the pickup driver’s entry point while naming a total of 33 people involved before releasing names.
