A private Population Reference Bureau study forecasts Hispanics may become the nation's largest minority by 2020 if immigration remains near 1 million annually. The NRC asked to order five GE boiling water reactors shut down within 30 days to inspect cooling pipes for cracks after cracks were found in 11 similar units nationwide. Officials noted one reactor inspected with no data yet and two more due in October. five plants remain slated for inspection with dates from September to January.
