Two Firemen Die in Banner Electrocution Accident
In Widmore Cambria County Pennsylvania two firefighters were killed and a third badly burned as they tried to remove a banner announcing a firemen’s picnic. Chief Robert New aged 45 died trying to rescue his son Rickey 20. Frank Chalan 17 also died when a pole banner touched a high tension line and sent a shock through the group. Rickey New is listed in serious condition with burns and shock.
