Minister brings free lunch to Albany park drive thru
The Rev. Charlie Muller of Victory Christian Church delivered free brown paper bag lunches from a red and white ambulance at a city park pool around 1 30 pm. Children rushed to the food along with adults in need while Muller urged with a bullhorn that no one should have to spend money for meals. The effort, already mobilized twice this summer, is funded by the church and aims to fill gaps left by the Summer Food Program which serves New York State children during the school year but not in summer.
