Forger Kimberly Adsit Sentenced to Probation With Prison Risk
Kimberly Adsit, 25, of Baldwinsville, dubbed a one woman crime wave by police, was sentenced Friday to 142 to three years of parole supervision to address a drug problem. Judge DeJoseph warned she would serve that term in state prison if she fails rehabilitation through the Willard program. Adsit pleaded guilty to attempted second degree forgery after writing a larger refund check to obtain extra cash at B&B Auto Body, where she worked. Prosecutors said the checks funded a drug habit and many cases involved customers paying in advance for work never done. She faces restitution of 3000 to 4000 dollars to victims.
