Defense Secretary William Cohen said forensic science may end unknowns in wars as the Vietnam era Air Force pilot Blassie was identified by DNA after 14 years. Pentagon noted two more Southeast Asia identifications and returns to families, with a total of 496 Americans identified since the war’s end.
