Robin Moor Indemnity Set At 1 060 000

The United States will demand more than 1,000,000 dollars in compensation from Germany for the sinking of the American freighter Robin Moor. The claim includes ship value and passenger and crew personal effects, with damages drawn from German assets in the U S after funds were frozen. The mixed claims commission ceased at midnight after 19 years, having awarded nearly 160,000,000 dollars in total.
