A tractor trailer from All States Freight Inc. plunged off the Belgium Bridge into the Seneca River at 4 0 0 A M. Ralph Snyder 26 Alliance Ohio was found dead in the cab. Relief driver Wilmer Philips 34 Cuya Falls escaped with minor bruises after waking as the truck sank. Crews lifted the unit at 10 AM and removed the body. Philips said Snyder was pinned and efforts to free him failed. The rig was en route from Providence Rhode Island to Akron Ohio when it struck the railing and went over.
