Twins Born To Illinois Farmer’s Wife Weigh Eleven Pounds Each

Mrs. Homer Paris, wife of a Clay County farmer near Louisville Illinois, gave birth to twins each weighing 11 pounds on January 8 at the Paris farm home four miles from Louisville. Dr. B F Steely calls the birth extraordinary as the twins were carried in separate sacs with separate placentas and total weight of 22 pounds. The mother, 35, with one prior child, is described as healthy despite the remarkable delivery.
