The United States reached agreement with Iran today for the release of 62 American hostages. Americans hailed the news as the end of a great trial period and families prepared for a welcome home as Iran began preparing for departures to Western Europe. Riley Spencer of Moorpark Calif said, Hopefully this is the end of a great trial period for our country, amid the inauguration of President elect Ronald Reagan.
