PRINCETON Ind A Leslie Irving 31 on death row for a gas station slaying and accused of five other killings escaped last night from Gibson County Jail Sheriff Earl Hollen said Irving needed keys and outside help. His cellmate Lawrence Bryant remained jailed. Irving’s brother and wife visited him Tuesday. Irving was convicted December 20 of robbing a 30 year old at an Evanville gas station and faces indictments in Kentucky for additional murders.
