Ex Carrier workers accept 3.6 million settlement
About 200 ex Carrier workers and 225 in the Knights of Labor agreed to a 3.6 million settlement with Carrier and the United Steelworkers after two hours of voting in Syracuse. Each survivor will receive roughly 11 500. The deal ends a 24 year fight dating to a 1960 strike and claims of unfair firing and blacklisting.
