Fans decide Elvis stamp image in 1993 release

A 13 member Citizens Stamp Advisory Committee will narrow 25 to 30 Elvis Presley images to two. Fans will vote by purchasing a 19 cent postcard with the chosen image, four to six weeks after the selection. The Elvis stamp, issued in 1993, will be part of Legends of American Music. The Postal Service earns about 140 to 150 million dollars yearly from stamp sales.
