Melee lands six in jail after fatal Vienna fire
Six men, four of them relatives of the fire victim, were arraigned after a melee with Oneida County deputies at the scene of a Vienna house fire that killed 63-year-old Howard Groth. A police dog was attacked, a fire rescue vehicle abducted, and two deputies injured before the group surrendered after barricading in an apartment for nearly an hour.
