Northway Manor tax settlement shifts burden to West Monroe residents
West Monroe Assessor says a five year old grievance with Northway Manor Mobile Home Park reduced its assessed value from 167 634 to 129 600. The park's full value now stands at 2.4 million, down from 3.1 million, increasing the tax levy on other taxpayers by more than 22 000 annually. The 79 acre site has 148 lots and the settlement applies from 1997 forward.
