Soviet attache Yevgeniy Gavrilov was found dead Friday inside the Soviet Embassy in Washington. The DC medical examiner cites asphyxia by ligature as the autopsy finding, while stating the manner of death remains undetermined due to withheld scene access. Embassy spokesman Mikhail Lysenko confirmed the death.
