Fires spread through homes in Clay and North Syracuse
Officials blamed faulty wiring for fires that leveled a Clay home and forced residents from two senior complexes in North Syracuse. A fire at 8405 Gaskin Road left Sandra Fesko and her family homeless, while another at a North Syracuse senior complex caused injuries to Fire Coordinator Mike Twores and others. In nearby incidents, water from a burst hydrant flooded basements on West Newell Street, police investigated a Robbery on Otisco Valley Road, and a cafe break-in netted $40. New Life Adoption Agency will host a free adoption seminar January 15 at 430 West Genesee Street with advance registration.
