National Hispanic University aims for Western accreditation
Oakland and San Jose based National Hispanic University, founded in 1981 by Roberto Cruz, seeks Western Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation to lift grants and credit transfers. The 33 year old, 310 student campus plans expansion to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and more, while maintaining bilingual programs and a diverse student body.
