Fasano, a Syracuse contractor and former American Powerboat Association rookie of the year, saw his racing career end after a bedrock day in New Orleans where his boat Vincentive sank at 96 mph, injuring 16 and leading to the unraveling of his construction empire in bankruptcy court.
Maria Berrios 20 was arrested after X rays showed both legs broken in a 13 month old. She said she twisted the left leg in a Feb 7 fit. The right leg broke about a week earlier. Child placed in foster care. charged with third degree assault and endangering welfare.
