Vermont ski lodge operator gets 14 years for Jacobson escape
Anthony DeRosa, a 47 year old Vermont ski lodge operator, was sentenced in Brooklyn to one to four years in prison for aiding the escape of Howard Jacobson, the so called love triangle killer. He must serve at least 12 months before parole eligibility. DeRosa allegedly entered the Brooklyn House of Detention for Men on May 31 1980 posing as Jacobson's lawyer, allowing Jacobson to leave in DeRosa's clothing. DeRosa was arrested while attempting to depart the jail.
