A two month old baby born four days after his Army private father was killed in the Atlantic Coast Line wreck at Lumberton North Carolina December 16 receives 9156 as part of a 13750 settlement against the railroad. Surrogate Campbell announced the award on behalf of Mrs Louis Mach and her son Louis Jr. The father was en route home when killed and his death notification arrived on his wife’s twenty first birthday.
