Watertown Lifts Travel Ban as Blizzard Eases
About 1,800 people stranded in Watertown can depart Jefferson County as officials end the travel ban for outbound traffic at 7 a.m. The National Weather Service forecasts more snow, rising clouds, and temperatures near 15 to 20 degrees tonight with a 50 percent chance of snow today and 80 percent tomorrow. Western New York to get $3 million in federal disaster aid

Vance to Visit Moscow for arms talks in March

Judge voids Speach jail term in Speach case

Six Fire Departments Battle North Chittenango Home Blaze
Six volunteer departments battled a late morning fire that destroyed a Madison County home on Brivchwell Road, a one-and-a-half story wooden structure measuring about 5 by 20 feet. Fire Chief Zane DeForest led North Chittenango units with crews from Chittenango, Bridgeport, Minoa, Kirkville and East Syracuse. Fayetteville and South Bay stood by. No injuries were reported. it was unclear if anyone was home when the alarm sounded.
