Postman and Perils of a Postapocalyptic Journey
Review paints The Postman as Costner's flawed attempt at a cautionary epic blending suspense with uneven humor. While delivering decently staged action and strong adversaries led by Will Patton, the film overdoes sentiment and stray subplots, including a romance and werewolf echoes, leaving the core rescue of a ruined postal service underdeveloped.
