Onondaga County Bookmobile Ends 24 Year Run
The Onondaga County Public Library ends the 24 year old bookmobile service after cost pressures. It averaged 300 loans per day and will be replaced by quarterly book drop offs at nursing homes and senior centers. Drivers lose their jobs and staff transfers occur as the vehicle retires.
