Snow Blanket Across East States Brings Three Deaths
Snow blanketed the Middle Atlantic and New England regions with light accumulations in Syracuse and Boston. Three deaths were blamed on the storm: a sledding accident in Baltimore, a heart attack in Perth Amboy, and a skidding truck in Philadelphia as frigid conditions spread from Maryland to New England. Temperature dipped to 25 degrees and rose to 28 by late morning, with colder weather forecast for Sunday.
