Downtown Syracuse growth plan targets 13 action steps
John R. Searles Jr. outlined a 13 point Downtown Syracuse plan to boost vitality at the Metropolitan Development Association meeting. The program, to be released soon, aims to convert Latina Street into a transit mall, renovate Clinton Square, build downtown housing, complete the Civic Center, create a parking/conference hub, and expand pedestrian and access improvements, with total Clinton Square investments around 35 million and overall downtown investment exceeding 50 million with the Federal Building.
