Arafat and Barak Prepare for Face-to-Face Peace Talks

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak were gearing up for direct talks to resolve differences over a U.S. peace plan. The leaders would be joined by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in a trilateral meeting at Sharm el-Sheik as both sides examined concessions on sovereignty over the Temple Mount and a future refugee return.

Feds nix drug import plan as unsafe and costly

Salvation Army campaign raises funds amid holiday need in Central New York

Insurance will cover break in damages. funds lost from theft must be replaced through other means.

Suspect in office shooting identified as software tester
