Everson Museum Show Charts Diverse Strains of American Painting
Grandma Moses and Reginald Marsh headline an Everson Museum exhibit titled American Painting From 1830. Sixty nine works trace a history from Catlin in the 1830s to Andrew Wyeth in Maine last summer, with Whistler, Sargent, Hopper and Sloan among others. The show runs through January 16 and reflects the museum’s community plaza role with Marsh and Moses guiding the dialogue.
