Missed the boat but found each other by design
Gloria and Fred Fitzgerald met after missing a boat on a Great Lakes ferry. Now a decorative duo nicknamed Freglow, Fred carves wooden toys and Gloria paints and names each ornament. They moved back to Syracuse area, ran a half way house for delinquent youths, and continued art shows with driftwood and found materials. Their daughter Diane Elmer and granddaughters Roxanne and Stephanie inherit the talent.
